A Somatic Movement & Dance Retreat with Gina Weber
With Gina Weber
April 7 - 11, 2027
Some journeys begin with stillness. This one begins with movement — and what it has to say about you.
Led by Gina Weber, a professional dancer and theater artist, this retreat is an invitation to reconnect with your body as a source of intelligence, expression, and joy. Over the course of five days in Costa Rica, Gina guides two movement sessions daily — drawing from somatic practices and dance to help participants listen inward, release tension held in the body, and rediscover the pleasure of simply moving. No prior dance experience is needed. Only a willingness to show up.
Meals are prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients — food that reflects the land you’re on and nourishes the work you’re doing. Two curated excursions bring the Costa Rican landscape into the retreat itself: a hike through the living terrain surrounding a volcano, where the earth’s own energy becomes part of the practice, and a visit to Doka Coffee Roasters, one of Costa Rica’s most storied estates, where the rhythm of harvest and craft offers its own quiet lesson in presence.
This is not a performance retreat. It is a space to soften, to explore, and to return to yourself — held by a facilitator who understands the body not as something to be perfected, but as something to be heard.

Gina has been moving with intention since she was five years old — and in many ways, she never stopped exploring what movement can mean. Over the decades, that early love has grown into a life shaped by dance, somatic practice, musical theater training, and more than twenty years of yoga. She is also a hula hoop artist, bringing a sense of play and wonder into every space she inhabits. What sets Gina apart is not just her training, but the quality of presence she carries. She is deeply intuitive. She reads the energy of a room before a word…
